GIRO D'ITALIA 2026

Thursday, May 21, 2025 is a date to mark on your calendar: the Giro d’Italia, the Corsa Rosa, returns to the roads of the Riviera, bringing with it passion, magic, and adrenaline.
More specifically, this will be the twelfth stage of the 2026 Giro d’Italia, covering 177 km, starting in Imperia and finishing in Novi Ligure, in the province of Alessandria.
The route is a mixed one, combining flat and hilly sections, and crosses a large number of coastal municipalities along the Riviera, including our Pietra Ligure at kilometer 59.
In the final part of the stage, the riders will tackle the Giovo Pass, between Albisola and Sassello, followed by Bric Berton, before entering Piedmont and preparing—along the Alessandria stretch of the Po Valley—for a likely bunch sprint finish.
