The clocks displayed are authentic pieces (the oldest dates back to the 16th century) collected by the Bergallo family or donations from collectors, churches and other figures.
As well as clocks you will find dials, hands, ‘oddities’ from belfries, pulleys, all objects which are a testimony to a rich history of technique and of the unique mechanical clock.
The Bergallos made clocks between 1861 and 1980 in the house/office where they carried out all their activities. Their clocks have been installed in Liguria, Piedmont, Val d'Aosta, Valtellina and the most furthest in Patagonia.
The museum can be found in Bardino Nuovo - Tovo San Giacomo, in the hinterland of Pietra Ligure, around 7km from the sea. Advised motorway exit: at the tollbooth of Pietra Ligure; take county road no. 4 for Pietra Ligure - Tovo - Magliolo, and follow the signs.
